2025 was a remarkable year for LOTM and Radio Lumiere. Once again, due to security conditions on the ground, we did not send any work teams to Haiti. However, that did not prevent us from continuing to be Jesus's hands and feet in serving our Haitian brothers and sisters.
Key highlights for LOTM in 2025:
- Partnered with Barnabas Aid in a food
distribution program - Initiated an aid program for Radio Lumiere employees who were victims of gang violence
- Converted to an internet audio streaming platform for all Radio Lumiere stations and facilities
- We had a record-setting Summer Banquet in both attendance and funds raised
- Raised funds to procure needed supplies, food, and other aid to ignored and forgotten survivors of Hurricane Melissa
Below is a year-end report from on the ground in Haiti, from Radio Lumiere's Chief Engineering Technician, Peniel Mizaire.
